Adam competed in Irish dancing for over 15 years, in that time winning State and National titles and in 2007 became Australian Irish dancing champion.
Adam then completed full time ballet training with Hilary Kaplan at Algeria dance school, during this time he completed his Advanced 1 RAD.
Following his fulltime ballet training, Adam was invited to train in Portugal on a full scholarship. During his time in Portugal he trained in classical, contemporary and character dancing and performed with the Portuguese National ballet school and Portuguese National ballet company in ballets such as The Nutcracker and La Baydere.
Following this engagement, Adam moved home to Australia and began training with the Queensland ballet company for three years performing in ballet such as Swan Lake, King Arthur, Sleeping Beauty and Don Q.
On retirement, Adam completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Master of Nursing. Adam currently works as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the field of Vascular, Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery.
To further add to his skills, Adam completed a Masters of Physiotherapy with the University of Sydney. He has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal injuries , particularly in the field of classical and contemporary ballet dancers.
